Bob Armstrong

Bob Armstrong Tennis Scholarship

Purpose: To continue a tradition of recognizing the academic and athletic achievements of these great athletes.

“Tennis Players, in general, receive very little attention…they truly deserve the recognition and support that this scholarship can afford them…maybe one small step to help them go to the college of their choice.”

— Bob Armstrong

The Bob Armstrong Scholarship was created in 2013.  Bob Armstrong was the Kentridge High School tennis coach from 2000-2012, establishing a culture of fun and tradition of winning while amassing a record of 155 wins and 12 losses.

— 2013 was the first year the scholarship was awarded.

— One or more scholarships will be awarded each year to one male student and one female student.

— Applicants must be Kentridge High School seniors.

— Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.
