The Kent Community Foundation COVID-19 Unmet Needs Grant is designed to provide funding for capacity building, for organizations supporting efforts made toward stabilization and recovery by addressing the inequitable impact of the pandemic.  Grant funds must benefit the Greater Kent community and/or immediately surrounding areas.

Applications will be awarded for up to $5000.

The Kent Community Foundation Afghan Crisis Fund is designed to provide funding for  nonprofit organizations supporting families and individuals in the Greater Kent/Covington community area, providing food, meals, and other critical resources during the Afghan Crisis.

Each year the Kent Community Foundation accepts proposals from community groups and schools for cultural arts and education programs. The Foundation awards grants on a semi-annual basis:  January 31 and July 31  deadlines.

(The Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation promotes good health, physical education, and academic achievement, by providing scholarships and grants for amateur athletes in the Puget Sound Region. To encourage participation in athletic competitions in team and individual sports, as well as providing grants to local youth and amateur sports associations for equipment and facilities for use in our community.)  Grants are awarded on a semi-annual schedule with April 30 and Oct 31 deadlines.
