Volunteers wanted!

The Kent Community Foundation is growing, and we need volunteers to help support our work. Time commitment and skills needed vary based on the specific assignment. If you are looking to help one time with an event or to to join us on a more regular basis, we’d love to have your help.

Here are a few of our current needs:

— Board of Directors (one- to three-year terms, monthly meetings plus committee assignments)

— Grants chair (minimal time commitment, February – April)

— Kent Has Talent year (10 to 15-hour commitment, July-October)

— Scholarship Awards Event chair (8-10 hour commitment, March-May)

— Scholarship chair (5 to 10-hour commitment, February-May)

— Scholarship committee member (4 to 8-hour commitment, February-May)

— Outreach chair for marketing, communications and events (varies, year-long commitment)

— Investment and Financial Committee (varies, year-long commitment)

— Advisory Committee (8-10 hours per year; quarterly meetings)
